TCU ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME
Tony Jeffery ruled the Southwest Conference in the mid-1980's as TCU's leading rusher in 1985, 1986 and 1987. By the end of his collegiate career he was the Frogs' number two all-time rusher (3,749 yards) and fourth all-time in touchdowns (31). Jeffery’s career game came in 1986 when rushed for 343 yards on 16 carries (a 21.4 average). In 1987, he earned All-Southwest Conference honors as a running back. In 1988, he was drafted in the second round by the NFL’s Phoenix Cardinals and also played for the New York/New Jersey Knights in the World League of American Football.
