Becky Brill-Hall was one of the greatest student-athletes to ever compete for the TCU women's swimming and diving team as the former standout was selected as the AIAW (Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women) Athlete of the Year following the 1981 season. Brill was a nine-time All-American selection for the Frogs in four separate events - including the 200-yard butterfly, 400-yard individual medley, 500-yard freestyle and 1,650-yard freestyle - while posting four top-10 finishes at the AIAW National Swimming and Diving Championships during the 1982 campaign. During her senior campaign - Brill was part of an 800-yard relay team that finished fifth overall at the AIAW National Swimming and Diving Championships. During her tenure with the Purple and White - the Frogs did not compete in the traditional conference similar to today's settings, but competed strictly on the national level. Making her accomplishments even more remarkable - Brill guided the Frogs to a third-place finish at the 1981 and 1982 AIAW National Swimming and Diving Championships. Brill was selected to the Southwest Conference All-Decade Team for the 1980s after she held five schools records for the Frogs upon her graduation from the program. The TCU standout qualified for a record seven events at the AIAW National Swimming and Diving Championships during her freshman campaign with the Frogs.
