Versatile Ray Hill, a two-way starter on the offensive and defensive lines, lettered for the Frogs in 1953 and 54. Prior to attending TCU, Hill played for the Camp Pendleton Marine squad and was selected to the All-Marine Corps Football Team. Hill then played professionally for the Saskatchewan Rough Riders in the Canadian Football League. Following his time at TCU, Hill coached at Birdville High School and Abilene Cooper High School. He also coached at New Mexico Military Institute. Hill then retired as an agency executive from State Farm Insurance Companies, where he worked for 34 years.
