Nick Browne was a dual sport athlete at TCU, starring for both the football and men's soccer teams. On the gridiron, Browne set the TCU career record for points by kicking in a season (122) after converting 28 field goals and 28 PATs during his senior season in 2003. Brown also holds the TCU career records for field goals made in a season (28; 2003) and in a career (65). Browne was a two-time all-conference selection and shared the Roger Trophy with Bo Schobel in 2003, becoming just the second placekicker to earn TCU Football's highest honor. Browne was named a consensus First-Team All-American following the 2003 season. As a member of the TCU soccer team, Browne was the leading scorer with five goals and three assists for 13 points in 2001.
