That season, Henry became the first TCU golfer to be selected as the Golfweek/Taylor Made Co-College Player of the Year and also garnered Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Year honors after capturing the WAC Championship title. Henry led the Frogs to a pair of Western Athletic Conference championships as well as berths to the NCAA National Championships in each of his final two campaigns, including a seventh-place finish at the 1998 NCAA National Championship.
