Luis Ruette was a four-time All-America honoree during his time at TCU, which included being named a Singles All-American in 1991 and 1992, respectively. The 1991 Southwest Conference Player of the Year, Ruette was a seven-time all-conference honoree between singles and doubles, who won three conference championships during his tenure. He closed his career ranking second in TCU history in singles victories and fourth overall in doubles winning percentage.
