Reggie Smith concluded his basketball career with the Frogs as the only player in program history to rank in the top-five in both scoring and rebounding after accumulating 1,630 points and 966 rebounds during his tenure. The former TCU standout garnered first team All-Southwest Conference accolades during his junior and senior campaigns and concluded his career by owning four records in rebounds, blocked shots, consecutive starts and career starts. The program's all-time leader in career rebounds, Smith accumulated 966 boards during his tenure, including 386 rebounds during his senior season - which is the third-highest tally in TCU single-season history. In addition, the former TCU post player notched 1,630 career points, which ranks fifth on the all-time scoring list and averaged 17.9 points and 11.4 rebounds per game during his senior campaign. The Portland Trailblazers selected Smith in the second round (31st overall pick) in the 1992 NBA Draft where he played a pair of seasons. Following his tenure in the NBA, Smith played professionally in Europe before an injury cut his career short.
