The Ashleigh Scully '24, MA '25 Equestrian Endowment
The Horned Frog family is proud to announce the establishment of an endowed program fund supporting Texas Christian University's Equestrian Program through the generosity of Miriam and Gerry Scully of Morristown, New Jersey. The fund honors their daughter, Ashleigh, who earned her B.A. in English from TCU in 2024 and completed her M.A. in English in 2025. This inspiring commitment reflects the family's enduring belief in TCU's mission, their deep appreciation for Coach Haley Schoolfield's leadership and their confidence in the lasting impact of the Equestrian Program on student-athletes for generations to come.
Since its inception in 2006, TCU Equestrian has emerged as one of the nation's premier programs, consistently competing among the top-ranked teams in the country. The Horned Frogs have made multiple appearances at the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Championships, earned numerous Big 12 honors and secured historic victories over nationally ranked opponents throughout the program's rise.
Most recently, TCU continued its tradition of excellence during the 2025–26 season with standout wins over ranked competition, including victories against Fresno State and South Dakota State. The season marked the program's 12th consecutive bid to the NCEA Championships and a program-best fifth consecutive winning season, finishing with an 8-7 record. Success extended beyond competition, as 12 student-athletes earned spots on the All-Academic Team, 20 were named to the Academic Honor Roll and four Horned Frogs received recognition on the 2025–26 Ariat All-America Teams.
The Ashleigh Scully '24, MA '25 Equestrian Endowment will provide critical annual support exclusively for TCU Equestrian, helping meet the evolving needs of a championship-caliber program. Endowment earnings will assist with the care of horses, equipment needs, conference expenses, travel costs and other priorities identified by the coaching staff to ensure student-athletes continue competing at the highest level.
"Ashleigh left a remarkable legacy as a student-athlete, and this generous endowment ensures that legacy will continue to inspire and support Horned Frog riders. Her dedication, leadership and commitment to excellence strengthened TCU Equestrian both in and out of the arena during her five years at TCU," said TCU Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield. "Now, the Ashleigh Scully '24, MA '25 Equestrian Endowment ensures the same opportunities Ashleigh enjoyed are available to young women for years to come. We humbly and gratefully thank the Scully family for their support over the years and for securing the program's continued success!"
This gift represents a permanent foundation for the future of TCU Equestrian. Through endowed support, the Scully family hopes to inspire others to join them in sustaining excellence in perpetuity and ensuring future Horned Frog riders have the resources needed to thrive.
