Hello Frog Fam!
What an exciting time to be a Horned Frog! There's tremendous energy and momentum surrounding Block T, and I'm grateful for the continued support and enthusiasm from our Letterwinner community.
Our recent TCU Athletics Hall of Fame Weekend was an incredible experience! A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who attended and helped make the celebration so special. It was wonderful seeing former teammates, families, and friends come together to honor our newest inductees. We look forward to continuing to celebrate their accomplishments and the lasting legacy they've created at TCU.
Our Block T tailgates have also been a tremendous success, providing opportunities to reconnect, share memories, and create new ones. We're looking forward to our next tailgate on October 31 inside the Kelly Center. You don't want to miss this one!
And there's more! If you're interested in having lunch with our student-athletes, sharing your story in a classroom, or staying active through one of our boxing classes, please reach out. I'd love to help you get plugged in!
Thank you for staying connected, showing up, and helping us build a stronger Letterwinner community. There's so much more ahead, and we're just getting started!
Once a Horned Frog, Always a Horned Frog!
Many Blessings and Go Frogs®!

Cedric James
Director of TCU Block T Association

- 2026 TCU ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME RECAP
What a fantastic weekend celebrating seven new inductees into the TCU Athletics Hall of Fame! The festivities began Thursday, Oct. 1, with the Hall of Fame Banquet in the Tucker Family Ballroom at the Brown-Lupton University Union, where we honored Dr. Bert Franks, Sarah Beard, Marshall Newhouse, Ronnie Baker, Josh Doctson, Zahna Medley-Kindred, and Jerry Hughes for their outstanding contributions to TCU Athletics.
On Friday, the celebration continued at Chieffalo Americana for Breakfast and Buckles, a special tradition hosted for the fourth consecutive year by store owner Rodger Chieffalo. Each inductee received a one-of-a-kind belt buckle, handcrafted by Rodger and featuring a vintage Horned Frog on the front.
We wrapped up the weekend Saturday with a pregame gathering at the Block T Letterwinners Tailgate on the Kelly Center Lawn. More than 200 alumni, family members, and friends braved the rainy weather to celebrate together before all seven inductees were recognized on the field at halftime of the TCU-BYU football game.
It was a memorable weekend honoring an incredible group of Horned Frogs, and we’re already looking forward to celebrating the next class in 2027!

- TCU GIVES DAY 2026 - A HUGE SUCCESS!
TCU Gives Day 2026 was a tremendous opportunity for Horned Frogs to come together and support the programs and people who make TCU special. University-wide, the campaign raised more than $3.04 million from 3,635 donors, reaching 179% of its donor goal.
TCU Athletics also delivered an impressive performance, raising $496,247 from 728 donors and surpassing its goal of 500 donors by nearly 46%. For some perspective, last year’s TCU Gives Day brought in 402 Athletics donors and $107,395
The TCU Block T Letterwinners Association had an outstanding campaign of its own, securing 52 donors and $7,910 in contributions. With a goal of 25 donors, Block T reached 208% of its target, more than doubling its participation goal. Every gift helps strengthen the lifelong community of TCU Letterwinners and supports the Association's mission to keep former student-athletes connected, engaged and involved with TCU.
These results reflect the generosity and continued commitment of the Horned Frog family. Thank you to everyone who contributed, shared the campaign and helped make TCU Gives Day 2026 a success. Thank you Letterwinners!
