Hello Frog Fam! 2025 Hall of Fame Class

Wow ... What a September! A lot of amazing happenings this past month with TCU Athletics. We opened the month with Football downing UNC on the road in Chapel Hill. Volleyball and Women's Soccer enjoyed some big time wins this past month, and both are ranked among the Top-25! Men's and women's cross country teams each tallied a pair of second-place finishes so far this season. Women's golf posted a second-place finish at the OU Schooner Classic. In-between all of that, we celebrated a great Hall of Fame Weekend!

Congratulations to the eight incredible Horned Frogs who were officially inducted into the 2025 Class of the Block T Association Hall of Fame just a few weeks ago. It was a night full of pride, celebration, and reflection – and it would not have been possible without the support of so many of you. Because of your presence, encouragement, and commitment, we once again set the bar high with a record-setting crowd in attendance. Thank you for helping make that evening one we will never forget. We’re already looking forward to building on that success and making next year’s banquet even better.

October is shaping up to be another exciting month across TCU Athletics. Highlights include:
  • Men’s Basketball hosting Defenders Fan Fest on Friday, Oct. 3
  • Equestrian opening its 2025-26 schedule at home vs. Oklahoma State on Friday, Oct. 3
  • Football hosting Colorado in a Saturday night Black Out Game on Saturday, Oct. 4
  • Women’s Tennis hosting the ITA Regional Championships from Thursday, Oct. 9 – Tuesday, Oct. 14
  • Beach Volleyball hosting the TCU Fall Challenge on Thursday & Friday, Oct. 16–17
  • Football hosting Baylor for Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 18
  • Triathlon hosting the NCAA West Regional Championship here in Fort Worth on Sunday, Oct. 26
And of course, many more competitions from our fall sports teams can be found at www.GoFrogs.com. I hope to see many of you at these events cheering on the Frogs and connecting with fellow Block T members!

I also want to share an update on our Block T Online Pop-Up Store. While we had originally hoped to have it launched already, we’ve experienced some delays in securing the best quality items at the best cost for our membership. I apologize for the wait, but please know the store will be worth it once it’s live. We want to make sure it’s full of the gear and goodies you’ll be excited about. Look for the store to open later this month.

Finally, I want to update you on the hiring process for the Director of the Block T Association. The search committee is currently conducting phone and Zoom interviews with a talented pool of candidates. Our hope is to have a new director hired and announced by the end of October.

Thank you again for an amazing September and for your continued support of the Block T Association. Here’s to another exciting month ahead.

Go Frogs®!

Best,
Dameon Myres
Assistant Director of the Block T Association
