Responsibilities: Cedric oversees the Block T Association, including the TCU Athletics Hall of Fame induction and the Horned Frog Classic. Cedric is a major gifts officer with most of his portfolio consisting of former student-athletes and parents of former student-athletes.
Prior to TCU: Cedric spent nearly 15 years serving the university through teaching, mentorship and program leadership, most recently as Director of Student Engagement at the Neeley School of Business, where he led initiatives that connected students, alumni and community partners through innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship. During this time, he also taught courses in life design, innovation and leadership, helping students develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
Before transitioning into higher education leadership, Cedric played professionally in the National Football League following a standout career as a Horned Frog wide receiver. His commitment to service and community impact has been recognized across campus, highlighted by receiving the Charley & Kate Thorp Award for Advancing Community.
A native of Fort Worth and deeply connected to the TCU community, Cedric returned to the university with a passion for mentorship, engagement and building meaningful relationships that strengthen the Horned Frog experience.

Personal: Fort Worth native and current Mansfield, Texas resident, Cedric has been married to his high school sweetheart, Myriah, for 21 years. They have four children — Averie, Camryn, Axton, and Kingston — and a Yorkie named Isla.
