We hope your summer is off to a wonderful start!
Welcome to the 1st edition of the newly revived Block T Association (BTA) Playbook! We have a lot to share with you! After looking into many different BTA playbook delivery options, we landed on a link back to our BTA website. This medium will allow us to share images, videos, and other content while making all of the information available to you at any time. To communicate with you all more consistently, we plan to email you a new addition of the BTA Playbook during the first week of each month. We hope you enjoy it!
In this edition, we will look back on our 2023-2024 BTA events and prepare you for our 2024-2025 BTA year of engagement. There is so much to look forward to in the coming year as we continue to grow our membership and expand our membership offerings.
On behalf of the Block T Association, I would like to thank all of you for your support, whether through your presence, your gifts, or connecting us with your former teammates. Your support is necessary for us to continue to be one of the nation's strongest collegiate letterwinner programs in the country!
With that being said, annual membership renewal is upon us! We are always looking for ways to increase engagement with all 8,500+ TCU letterwinners. Your 2024-2025 Block T Membership (Lifetime Members included), will include 10 priority points to add to your account, entry to our BTA tailgates, BTA networking events, program/team reunions, Block T Pop-up store access, and our newest addition – FREE entry to all Soccer, Volleyball, and Women’s Basketball games for the 2024-2025 season. Your GA ticket will be uploaded to your Horned Frog ticket account before each team's season!
Lastly, I’d like to highlight TCU Frog Club’s Horned Frogs 24/7 fundraising initiative that will be held from June 20-26, 2024. This is a great opportunity to support your team(s) of choice directly and impact the TCU student-athlete experience. Please feel free to share the initiative with your family and friends, and if you know of anyone who would be a good ‘influencer' for the week, send them our way!

Block T Association member contributions assist in funding events such as the TCU Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet, tailgates, exclusive networking events, and other special events and programs throughout the year. By contributing to the Block T Association, members make a lasting impact on the former, current, and future generations of TCU Athletics. The newest feature of our simplified Block T Association membership page allows for auto-renewal, so you can be sure you are up-to-date with your annual Block T Association contribution!

From your time as a student-athlete to now, we are grateful for all you have done for TCU! If anyone understands the sacrifice it takes to represent TCU at the highest level and pursue excellence 24/7, it’s our student-athletes. We are excited to announce that Horned Frogs 24/7, a week long fundraising initiative to support our varsity teams and athletic organizations, will be taking place later this month from June 20-26.
As you know, TCU student-athletes commit themselves to the pursuit of excellence in the classroom and in their respective sports all day, every day, 24/7. With 22 varsity teams, the Spirit teams and Rangers, we have 24 incredible programs to support over the course of seven days!
During this time frame, you will have the opportunity to give directly to your program, which will provide coaches the critical resources to deliver a first-class experience to all TCU student-athletes. Please be on the lookout for more information on Horned Frogs 24/7 in the coming weeks. We encourage you to get involved, spread the word to your network, and make a difference for your favorite program(s)! See the link below!

TCU Athletics and the TCU Block T Association have announced the newest inductees of its 2024 Hall of Fame class. The 57th class includes a three-time Super Bowl Champion, a three-time all-conference infielder, a pair of track & field athletes that competed in NCAA Championships, a current PGA Tour professional golfer, a four-time all-conference women's hoops star and the Hall's first-ever head coach only inductee.
The seven-member class features Marcus Cannon '10 (football), Jason Coats '12 (baseball), Lisa Ford '90 (track & field), Tom Hoge '11 (men's golf), Helena Sverrisdottir '11 (women's basketball), David Walker '83 (track & field), and former men's tennis coach Bernard James "Tut" Bartzen.
The 57th TCU Athletics Hall of Fame class will be inducted on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 3, and will then be honored at TCU's home football game against Houston on Friday, Oct. 4. |
