Responsibilities: John assists with all things related to Athletic Loyalty Giving from helping with communications and solicitations, liaising with the ticket office, managing a major giving portfolio, and is also the primary sport liaison for Beach Volleyball and Soccer.
Joined TCU Athletics Staff: July 2020
Prior to TCU: John worked as an intern in the TCU Athletics administration office and served as the visiting athletic director host between 2020-2023 before being promoted to Graduate Assistant with Frog Club. In the spring of 2023, John was promoted to the role of Graduate Assistant assisting in the communications, facilities, men's and women's basketball and Frog Club offices over a two-year span. John Sniffen began in the role of Assistant Director for Loyalty Giving in the Frog Club in October 2024.
Education: Texas Christian University, B.S. in Strategic Communication (2022); Texas Christian University, M.L.A. (Expected May 2025)
Personal: A native of Tallahassee, Fla., Sniffen graduated from TCU in 2022 with a degree in strategic communication and a double-minor in political science and creative writing. He is currently pursuing his MLA degree at TCU which he will finish in May 2025. John's sister, Summerlin, also graduated from TCU in 2020.
