Responsibilites: Dameon works closely with Block T Association membership, Hall of Fame nominations, Dutch Meyer Scholarship applicants, communications, and website maintenance.
Prior to TCU: Prior to his stint in athletics communications here at TCU, Myres also worked in the athletics media relations/communications field at Tarleton State, West Texas A&M and Utah. While working in Salt Lake City, he served as the primary media contact for the men’s basketball team, where he handled PR efforts for NBA First Round Draft Picks Jakob Poeltl and Kyle Kuzma.
Education: Tarleton State University, B.S. in Communications (2013)
Personal: A native of Azle, Texas, Myres served five years in the U.S. Army, which included tours of duty in both South Korea and Ft. Carson, Colo. (10
th Special Forces Group). He resides in Aledo, Texas, with his wife Joni, who is a former All-American basketball player at West Texas A&M. The couple has a daughter, Leighton (7), and son, Cooper (2).
